In May 2020, Rachel successfully completed course work to earn a Certificate in U.S. Research from Salt Lake Community College. This program is designed to prepare students for a career in genealogical research. It focuses on teaching students how develop organizational skills, the proper use of genealogical sources and records, and writing client reports. As of December 2019, Rachel has completed two out of three semesters towards a Certificate for U.S. Genealogical Research. After May 2020, she will have completed the necessary coursework at Salt Lake Community College and so will be better able to assist clients in all their genealogical needs!

Rachel attended the Association of Professional Genealogists Professional Management Conference held in Washington D.C. September 28-October 1, 2017. She was able to meet many experienced professional genealogists and attended workshops designed to help further the progression of her business.
